Class 1 Driver — Iceland Foods (Livingston) Pay: From £17.00/hour, plus shift premiums and a £500 new-starter bonus Hours: 50-hour contract, flexible shift patterns across a 24-hour operation Location: GXO Livingston site, delivering for Iceland Foods We're hiring Class 1 Drivers at our Livingston site, delivering groceries to Iceland stores across the region. It's steady, varied work with flexible shift options to fit around your life — mornings, afternoons or nights, rotating Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, with only two Saturdays a month. What you'll earn The base rate starts at £17.00 an hour, rising to £22.91 for bank holidays and overtime. On top of that you'll earn shift premiums: an extra £1.70 per hour between 06:00 and 07:00, £2.56 per hour between 18:00 and 22:00, and £3.17 per hour for nights between 22:00 and 06:00. What you'll do day-to-day You'll deliver multi-temperature goods to Iceland stores on a multi-drop route, handling cages and pallets safely and efficiently. The role includes loading and unloading, returning empties to site, and resolving any delivery issues that come up — working independently on the road and as part of a wider team back at the depot. Good professional engagement with store staff is part of the job, alongside following company procedures and driving regulations.
